Read the classic fairy tales of The Brothers Grim, Christian Anderson, and Perrault. Then compare them to the Disney versions.
Watch the fractured fairy tale of A Cinderella Story movie trailer, then list similarities and differences between the movie version and the classic.
Read the book summary of Beastly. Show similarities and differences between this story and Beauty and the Beast.
Once the filamentality is completed the students will use it as a guide to write their own fractured fairy tale in Microsoft word.
Allow 30 minute time for filamentality.
